New Co-Convener for the Theatre Architecture Working Group

Professor Dorita Hannah has been elected as the new co-convener of the Theatre Architecture Working Group.

In December 2017 the Theatre Architecture Working Group held an election for a new co-convener and Prof. Dorita Hannah was elected. Dorita will officially take on the role at our next meeting during the IFTR World Congress in Belgrade in July 2018.

The Working Group wishes to expres thanks to Dr Juliet Rufford who will step down as convener in July. Juliet has served two four-year terms as convener and in this role has worked to expand the critical remit of the group by focussing on how the disciplines of theatre and architecture intersect. She has also worked to expand the membership of the group, particularly by encouraging a greater disciplinary and geographic diversity. Thank you to Juliet for the work she has done leading the Working Group over the past eight years, building it into a strong and supportive scholarly community.
