Symposium "Re-Constructing Performance Art: Processes and Practices of Historicisation, Documentation, and Representation (1960s–1970s)" (Berlin 30.11 / 01.12.18)

Dear Colleagues and Members of IFTR,

I am very pleased to invite you to the international symposium 
Re-Constructing Performance Art: Processes and Practices of Historicisation, Documentation, and Representation (1960s–1970s), which will take place on 30 November and 1 December 2018 at the Freie Universität in Berlin. In three sections and one roundtable, international scholars will explore the practices of historicisation, documentation, exhibition, and archiving of performance art.

Participants: Philip Auslander, Barbara Büscher, Barbara Clausen, Sabine Gebhardt Fink, Gabriella Giannachi, Tancredi Gusman, Adrian Heathfield, Doris Kolesch, Jan Lazardzig, Annette Jael Lehmann, Michael Lüthy, Lorenzo Mango, Heike Roms, and Sylvia Sasse.
