The Brazilian Journal on Presence Studies — Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença, an online periodic freely and universally available, will be receiving, until April 30th, 2015, unpublished papers for its thematic section VOCAL PEDAGOGIES. The section aims at giving visibility to discussions which contribute in an innovative way to the theme and advances in the universe of knowledge already accumulated in the field of the Performing Arts. The journal will focus on works of critical and analytical nature seeking: a) to think vocal training on the contemporary scene; b) discuss the training of the performer in the context of vocal training; c) review vocal methods and procedures within the creative process; and/or d) propose new ways to think vocal pedagogies. Thus, the journal expects works arising from studies with innovative conceptual reflections in the field of the Performing Arts. The texts should follow the standards of the journal and be uploaded directly to the submission system to go through the journal's ordinary review process, by clicking on the corresponding section (Vocal Pedagogies). The periodic does not charge submission or publication fees, and uses the double-blind peer review system. The texts can be sent in Portuguese, Spanish, English, or French, for publication in two languages, according to the editors' choice. Authors sending texts in Portuguese and Spanish may be required to send English translations. For more information, see www.seer.ufrgs.br/presenca where our standards may be accessed under “Author Guidelines” (change language under IDIOMAS, on the right).
