New Scholars’ Prize and Helsinki Prize

Following a rigorous assessment of essays received, the judges have selected two deserving entries for the award of the 2015 New Scholars’ Prize and none for the Helsinki Prize. Consequently, I am pleased to announce that following people as winners of the 2015 New Scholars’ Prize. I hope you will join me in congratulating them on their success.

 

Ms. Ariane Zaytzeff (New York University), Ingoma Nshya: Rerouting Performances of Tradition

 

Ms. Clio Unger (Ludwig- Maximilians University), The New Normal: Experiencing Intermedial Spectatorship in Wafaa Bilal’s Domestic Tension

 

The winners will be formally introduced during the opening ceremony of the 2015 IFTR Conference in at the University of Hyderabad in July 2015.
