Central is seeking to recruit a full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Sound for Theatre and Performance
Central is looking for a creative and inspiring Lecturer in Sound for Theatre and Performance to lead the pioneering Theatre Sound degree programme, formerly led by Ross Brown and Gregg Fisher. 
You will have a proven professional track record in working creatively with sound and music in relation to drama; have excellent skills in collaborating with directors and other designers and a solid technical grounding and broad understanding of current technological trends in theatre sound. You will be committed to developing your profile in theatre sound as an educator and practitioner-researcher developing innovative collaborations with industry.  
You will have excellent professional contacts and be able to create excellent learning-opportunities for students through industry partnerships, placements and mentoring. In return you will help continue Central’s institutional role as a hub for the stimulating exchange of theoretical and practical knowledge and opinion within the theatre sound profession.
For the title of Senior Lecturer, you will be recognised as an authority by peer subject specialists nationally and meet the senior lecturer expertise profile in the job description upon appointment.
