The Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença [Brazilian Journal on Presence Studies], a free and universal access online periodical, will be receiving, until May 31st, 2014, unpublished scientific articles for its thematic section SOMATIC EDUCATION. The goal of this section is to give visibility to research that offers innovative contributions to the theme, and advances in the knowledge already accumulated in the field of Somatic Education. The journal will favour works of critical and analytical character that seek to rethink Somatic Education and its connection with the contemporary scene. We expect to receive works on the techniques of Somatic Education; its epistemological bases, its issues and challenges for creation in the performing arts; its limits; its uses and discourses from a theoretical viewpoint and/or from the viewpoint of artistic practice. The texts should follow the journal's standards and be uploaded directly on the submission system in order to go through the ordinary review process of the journal, by clicking on the corresponding section (Somatic Education). The periodical does not charge any submission or publication fees and follows the double-blind peer review policy. Texts can be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, English, or French, for a bilingual publication, according to the editorial team's choice. More information can be found at where the publication standards can be viewed under “Author Guidelines.”
